Integrals

Im actually struggling on 2 other very basic equations, im watching the tutorials on utube on integration but I cant figure this one out because it looks to simple and all examples are very complex:

Another, more graphical way to look at it is you're finding the area under the line

. This is simply the area of a rectangle of height 1 and width 4, so the area is 4.
