ALGEBRA - i need more examples about ring -_-?

Please give me EXAMPLE and explain about:

- Commutative ring and uncommutative ring which doesn't have unit element
- Ring which has different unit element with its subring's unit element

Re: ALGEBRA - i need more examples about ring -_-?

(i) Commutative: Take a look at the integers (they won't work by themselves!)
Noncommutative: 2x2 matrices with elements only in certain positions.

(ii) Think direct products.
