Orbit of moon around the earthThis is a physics question, but it actually requires no background knowledge. #2 2005-08-05 23:02:14
Re: Orbit of moon around the earthI'm confused. If the moon orbits the planet elliptically, how can you say that they are 100km apart? Wouldn't the distance keep changing? Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #3 2005-08-06 09:51:14
Re: Orbit of moon around the earthI have played with this on the PC years ago. "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M. Lederman #4 2005-08-06 18:42:03
Re: Orbit of moon around the earthhaha this is meant to be a trick question, sorry abt the confusion #5 2005-08-08 09:13:14
Re: Orbit of moon around the earth
Then you should have specified a circular orbit! 2 + 2 = 5, for large values of 2. |
