Don't underestimate dogs! Their intelligence is tested in human environments. Try to outwit one in their territory.

I saw somewhere that people put a touch-screen computer that flashed up 4 random numbers between 1 and 100 with a chimp. The chimp had to touch them in numerical order to get some food. After a week, he was able to do it much faster than the scientist!

While on the subject of chimps, did anyone else read that a chimp got trained to play golf? Another one even got trained to become his caddy! They enjoyed it so much that they can now beat most humans. They're even intelligent enough to start laughing when their opponent is trying to sink a putt! Not the best sportsmanship ever, but it's amazing that they'd think to do that.

OK, last one... A scientist put a chimp in a cage and suspended a bunch of bananas from the ceiling. She also placed several crates at random positions around the room, hoping that the chimp would think to stack them up to make a tower that he could climb on to grab the bananas. He just played around with the crates and showed no signs of attempting to stack them, but when the scientist came in he leapt on her and jumped off her back to the bananas!

Elephants are pretty clever too...some elephants have been trained to 'paint' by holding a paint brush in their trunk.

He used to put his canvas on the floor and throw paint on it, I believe.

All this talk of what the picture is reminded me of a joke conversation between a computer and a psychiatrist. I know the conversation's moved on a bit, but it took me a while to find. Anyway...

Psychiatrist:  Please look at these pictures. What does the first one look like to you?
Computer:  It looks like an ink splotch.
P:  No, look deep into it, let your imagination run wild.
C:  Two ink splotches.
P:  Deeper, wilder.
C:  Actually, four ink splotches.

P:  Maybe you don't understand. Look at these pictures, and then tell me what they remind you of. You know, like a butterfly, or a face. Try the second one.
C:  Butterfly?
P:  Good! Now try the third.
C:  Butterfly face.

Yeah. I cycle everywhere or catch the bus when I can't ride my bike (getting fixed, serviced, broken, stolen, etc.). It's fun the mud gets everywhere. Also, it keeps me fit, as I live in Jersey if you want to get anywhere you have to go down/up a hill. So, it keeps my stamina up.

It's ok, not the most brilliant joke in the world, but still good.
