Inverse

Let f(x)= x^3 + 2x + 1, and assume that f^-1 exists and has domain (-∞,∞). Simplify each expression.

f[f^-1(4)]

Do I have to find the inverse and how? because I don't know how else to solve it. thankswhat

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
