Solving simultaneous equations

Hello

How do you solve the following simultaneous equations? (do you solve it by elimination method or subtitution method)

2y + x = 10 and x= 3 + 5y

2y+x=10
2y+3+5y=10
y=1
x=8

that one is easily solved by substitution. x is already given for you.
