### Binomial Theorem

Made a page about the Binomial Theorem

Critiques welcome.

### Re: Binomial Theorem

Hi MathsisFun;

Well done, would like to see you mention Sir Isaac Newton.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.

### Re: Binomial Theorem

Ah yes,the general version. What would you suggest writing? It may need a whole page on its own.

Just a brief paragraph mentioning that Newton is credited with the discovery should do it.

### Re: Binomial Theorem

That is a cool trick.

It also applies to the C=6 term: C = 1*6/(0+1) = 6

So there must be a general rule for generating any row of Pascal's Triangle ...

### Re: Binomial Theorem

I have reworked the page, including more examples at the end.

Would appreciate your thoughts, guys: Binomial Theorem

Nice derivation of the Taylor series for e at the bottom. Thanks for the page.

Looks really spiffy!!!
