Application of integral

The curve y=x³, 0≤ x≤ 3, is rotated about the y-axis. What volume does the resulting surface enclose? Use x as the dependent variable.

Ricky is asking you how far you have got to with your own attempt at answering the question. If you haven’t made a start yet, then you should (so we know you’re not just being lazy and waiting to copy someone else’s post).

The first thing you should do is to make a sketch of the part of the curve to be rotated.
