Averages!!!

Please help!
I have been asigned homework and I need to find the averages of these numbers: 10.5,    12.2, 23.3,    43.4, 117.5, 168.5, 162.9, 113.6, 76.2, 51.5, 25.8, 13.1
I added them up on a calculator and divided by 12 (how many numbers there are), but it comes up as 817. I was POSITIVE that this was not right so I tried again and again but it still came up as the same answer. What am I doing wrong? Is 817 in fact the correct answer? HELP ME!!!!!
