Here is the function
.A. Find a and b.
B. Find the function definition range.
C. Find the minimum & maximum points.
We tried to derive the function but we didn't succeed.
Please help us to finish the question.
Thanks.

It's easy enough to differentiate a + bx².
Then, to differentiate √(a + bx²), you use that result and the chain rule.
Then then, to differentiate x√(a + bx²), you use that result and the product rule.
I'm not sure how you could use the information given to find a and b though. It seems like you've got two unknowns to find, but only one equation to find them with.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Hi!
I know that there is a solution to this problem.
I know that there has to be a system of 2 equations.
One of them I have to get from comparing the equations of the function and the tangent at
The second one, I have to get from the comparing the derivations.
But, yet, I didn't succeed.
Can you help me please?
