Number range

Hi

I am doing number ranges - Find the range of these four numbers:

4,6,10,12

How do you work this out?

Thomas

Re: Number range

OK, Thomas, the first step is to find the Largest and Smallest number.

Largest = 12
Smallest = 4

Then the range is just the difference between Largest and Smallest

So, 12 - 4 = 8  !!

So the Range is 8

Re: Number range

The largest number is: 12
The smallest number is:4
so 12 - 4 = 8 and 8 is the range O.K
