Urgent

If i am on an 80% average for a school subject and i need 75% to get an A Grade, how much to i need to score in the exam to get an A if it is worth 24% of our final mark (out of 100)

Let's see if I get what you mean:
So, 76% percent of your grade is already 80%. You need a 75% to get A...

80(.76)+.24x ≥ 75
  60.8+ 0.24x ≥ 75
            0.24x ≥ 75-60.8
     0.24x/0.24 ≥ 14.2/0.24
                  x ≥ 59.16         

So, you have to get 60% in your exam to get exactly 75%.
Any higher, you'll still pass. Any lower, you'll fail.
