Is this true:

a(b/c) = ab / ac?

Re: When applied to the integers, multiplication is distributive over divi

Hmm. Ehhe! That's great. However, I think as a general rule the answer would be no. However, I believe multiplication is distributive over addition:

   a · (b + c) = (a · b) + (a · c)

   a + (b · c) = (a + b) · (a + c)

Yes, multiplication is distributive over addition. But addition is not distributive over multiplication! What are thinking of? mad
