Here's the easy one explained another way.
2, 2+3, 2+3+4, 2+3+4+5, 2+3+4+5+6, 2+3+4+5+6+7
which adds up to
2, 5, 9, 14, 20, 27

3x3-7, 3x4-7, 4x4-7, 4x5-7, 5x5-7, 5x6-7, 6x6-7, 6x7-7, 7x7-7

Here's the easy one explained another weird way I found.
2, 5, 9, 14, 20, 27, 35
Just go left to right in below stuff, forgetting rules of order.
4x3-4÷4,6x4-4÷4,8x5-4÷4,10x6-4÷4,12x7-4÷4,14x8-4÷4,16x9-4÷4
