Use of Manipulatives to illustrate the parallel and perpendicular line

There are few manipulatives that I can use to visually show the kids parallel and perpendicular lines.

a) Cross roads can be a good example to make them understand the concept of perpendicular lines
b) Car relative to the road to illustrate the idea of parallel line
c) Sum of two angles=90 degrees is the concept behind complimentary angles, this again can be used
d) Floor and ceiling to show the parallel line concept & the walls as perpendicular to the floor

What else can be used to show them and clear the concepts?

Parallel: Two railways, cables.
Perpendicular: The corner of the classrooms, a cross.

Actually I never watch Star Wars and not interested in it anyway, but I choose a Yoda card as my avatar in honor of our great friend bobbym who has passed away.
May his adventurous soul rest in peace at heaven.
