sequences and series

A farmer buys a used tractor for Rs 12000. He pays Rs 6000 cash and agrees to
pay the balance in annual instalments of Rs 500 plus 12interest on the unpaid
amount. How much will the tractor cost him?
The solution should be in A.P or G.P . and iam not able to understand which progression it is . And please help me to start the sum.

MAM THE SUM IS CORRECT. IT IS FROM NCERT TEXT. THE NEXT SUM IS :
Shamshad Ali buys a scooter for Rs 22000. He pays Rs 4000 cash and agrees to
pay the balance in annual instalment of Rs 1000 plus 10% interest on the unpaid
amount. How much will the scooter cost him?
IF I CAN SOLVE ONE OF THE SUM OF THIS I CAN CONTINUE WITH THE EXERCISE

THE CHAPTER NOW IAM DOING IS SEQUENCES AND SERIES. AND THE SUMS ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT MAM. THE BOOK ANSWERS ARE : FOR FIRST QUESTION IS 16680, SECOND ANSWER IS 39100. AND THE SUMS ARE FROM NCERT TEXT . THE LINK I HAVE GIVIEN  BELOW MAM. THE QUESTION NO. ARE 27 AND 28. THE REMAINING SUMS ARE ALL SAME IF I GET AN IDEA HOW TO START I CAN PROCEED I FEEL .
PLEASE GO THROUGH THE LINK AND HELP ME IF POSSIBLE.
