Graphing Question Plz Help!

Just a quick question. Im using gnuplot to try to plot the countrate of a radioactive material vs. distance. I think the graph is something like                   N(x) = No/(x^2), but I donno if that's right. Anyways, how do I turn this function into a straight line? I tried taking the negative square root of both sides, but when I graphed that on gnuplot, it gave me a line with a smaller slope than that of my datapoints. Plz Help!

Re: Graphing Question Plz Help!

I'd be interested in seeing all the data,
if you have it typed up.  Thanks.
