Re: how to find selling price?

Cost Price = Rs.3,800/-
Tax = 2% = Rs.76/-
Transportation = Rs.50/-
Total = Rs.3926/-

Of the total 1000 cucumbers, 40 got spoiled, remaining quantity is 960 cucumbers.
Profit = Rs.1,114/-
Total Selling Price = Rs.3926/- + Rs.1114/- = Rs.4140/
Selling price per unit = Rs.4140/960 Nos. = Rs.4.3125

Re: how to find selling price?

2% = .02

3800 * .02 = 76

Re: how to find selling price?

ok, so how can we solve that problem using this formula
selling price = selling price when cost price is Rs 100 / 100  * 100

this is the one in the text
