Polynomials

Made a page about Polynomials.

I want it to be a simple and clear introduction, and can then make further pages about adding, multiplying, etc later.

How does it read to you? Any ideas for improving?

Re: Polynomials

actually, what's the limit to the number of terms? you could include it.

Re: Polynomials

There is no limit, it's just got to be finite.

For example, 1+x+x²+x³+... isn't allowed.
But if that series stopped somewhere, then it would be a polynomial, even if it stopped at somewhere like x^1000000.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Re: Polynomials

Oh, thanks. You see, I've never studied 'polynomials' (the term)
