Metric System

I have put together a page on the Metric System of Measurement.

And a small page on "Unit" in Measurement

Waddya think? Could be better?

Re: Metric System

It's just missing one thing.  A section entitled: "Why the US is stupid for not using the metric system." tongue

Other than that, it looks good.

"In the real world, this would be a problem.  But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist.  So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

Re: Metric System

The two pages are very good. Is meters spelt so universally? I am tempted to spell it 'metres'!

Re: Metric System

it's spelled that way in French, perhaps a few other languages, too.
