Which of these characters would be good for the website? (Think about how a character will affect people's views etc on mathematics and the website)

Whatever we choose (or some new alternative you may think of), the artist (Catherine Harrell http://www.catherineharrell.com/) can then make lots of poses for use all over the site.

I like the dog quivering it's tail in excitement, and generally those people who [are smiling]/[have books in their hands].

Thanks Identity.

Any other votes? You can just say "3rd boy and 2nd girl" if they are your preferences.

Far bottom right girl. And I don't really have a reason... call it intuition.

"In the real world, this would be a problem. But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist. So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

Devantè says: I suggest the bottom right-hand girl and the top left-hand boy. I don't know why I picked them, I just think that they are an appropriate pair. For instance, the boy in the cap looks like a thief.

I would to agree - bottom right girl and top left boy seem the best two to use.

The guy with the woofsie and the girl in the middle together.

I see clearly now, the universe have the black dots, Thus I am on my way of inventing this remedy...

Names for the characters?

Coloured in figures?

Pet Animals? - parrot called Poly-gon (very obvious, but might appeal to younger users of the site)

Boy Name : RON (Using protractor/ drawing angles, Right Outside numbers)

Girl : LIN (Protractor use, Left Inside Numbers)

Any good?

Right, obviously I've been working too hard so off for a lie down now! adios

I think, therefore I am.

Thanks. Bottom right girl is a winner.

Having a boy would also be good, so here are three variations to choose from.

Plus some younger kids ... what do you think of them?

Of the bottom row ... my vote lies with right girl again.

Sorry, but I don't really like any of the boys at the top! But if I have to pick one, probably top left.

Agree with last message. Not sure that a cap would portray the right image for the site. Any other images to see? I like the general idea though.

Does the fifth boy ... have a goatee?

I like most of these ones ... just not the second or third.

Number 6 seems to fit the bill I reckon.
