Xe^-x

Ok im studying for my final and im doing good and all but theres one thing,

how do i do the derivative of xe^-x for some reason this seems like this should be really easy but its just not coming to me.

im not quite sure where you're getting that 2x from, the two could only appear there, given that the base of the exponent was in x.
