I don't think gender has anything to do with someone's potential to be a genius.

I read somewhere that on average, females are more intelligent than males, but males' IQs vary more. So more females than males are "clever", but more males than females are geniuses (genii? genies?).

I can't remember where I got that fun fact from though, so it's completely possible that it's absolute rubbish.

LOL ... in my experience women can do many things at once where a man would say "Stop! One at a time, please!"

When I taught at Uni, the male students were generally a sorry bunch, but there were some outstanding ones. Whereas most of the female students were acceptably good.

I had one theory: social groups. The male students would gather at the back of the class and talk sport or make jokes, but the female students mostly payed attention. The male students that did well stayed away from the group at the back and focussed on the subject - it was obvious that they wanted to achieve.

BTW I heard on a TV program that while men are typically stronger, they have less tolerance of medium weights. So a man will carry the shopping bags for 5 minutes and then want to put them down.

The person with the highest IQ in the world is a woman, Marilyn vos Savant. Her exact IQ is not known, although highest estimates are around 230.

Funnily enough, the 'Genius Gene Pool' happened to be showing tonight. Not that it's very related to this, although it is interesting that someone (Robert Graham) intended to breed geniuses.

well i know about smarter and cleverer for girls but also girls are usually more 'patient' and less girls get run over lmao. also some girls and calculate the mph they are going at if they are in a car blindfolded

yep! great if a girl ets kidnapped blindfolded and they are taking you in a car. of course you have to be smart to take advantage of this ability. i sorta have this ability

When do you think we'll ever find out for certain which gender is smarter? Perhaps we are supposed to never find out. All that has been said so far has been based on observations, experiments, and surveys. What we really need is a stringent mathematical proof.

Hey, males aren't like that, just stupid other kids do that.

A good majority of males are very different from the rest.
