asking for a formula

Have any mathematician created a formula to determine the approximate value of n!

There are a few.  The gamma function is used to extend n! to all real number instead of just integers.  However, it isn't used much for approximations.


"In the real world, this would be a problem.  But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist.  So we'll go ahead and do that now..."
