Re: Whats your definition of art?

Art = Drama. Not the performance of drama, but the sense of it, if anyone catches my drift. Art = Passion, expression.

Re: Whats your definition of art?

Art is a way for an artist to express ideas or feelings.

edit: ... to an audience.

Re: Whats your definition of art?

I guess art is simply anything you want it to be, although usually people stick to expressing emotions. I recently saw an art program that featured a woman who had worked for over a YEAR drawing a star-filled sky, with enormous precision. I really don't know what drives people to those kinds of lengths.

Re: Whats your definition of art?

There seem to be two definitions of art:

1) Some creation that is beautiful.

2) Something designed to communicate a feeling or emotion. Could be ugly.

Probably the wisest statement of all.

OCD?

Actually I never watch Star Wars and not interested in it anyway, but I choose a Yoda card as my avatar in honor of our great friend bobbym who has passed away.

Yes.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder in which time people have recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas or sensations (obsessions) that make them feel driven to do something repetitively (compulsions).
