Simplifying Fractions

Please HElp!!! I'm trying to help my 7th grader with his pre-algebra homework but it's been so long I can't remember how to simplify fractions such as i.e.

Is that what you're asking to simplify?

If you're not too confident in the matter, then write it out fully

Then cancel out the 'j's (they appear on both top and bottom), cancel out the top 'h' and one of the bottom 'h's, and simplify the number as you would a normal fraction.

So you get:
