Drawing

What have people been drawing, because I sometimes wonder if there are any other budding artists.
Personally I prefer to draw Humanoud figures, but I don't know enough about Anatomy, I have notes on male anatomy, but the book didn't have any pictures and notes on female anatomy (If anyone has any pictures of skeletons and muscle structure)

Re: Drawing

Well, I prefer the observational and still-life part of art, but I do draw those kinds of things sometimes. I just take a 2B or 2H art pencil and start drawing, then shading. I tend not to use a lot of colour in my drawings.

Nice picture, Ninja 101.

Re: Drawing

I go for more of a softer shading rather than a dark. I'm also not too good on extremely angular shapes.

Re: Drawing

I don't particularly like drawing manga, although someone will ask you to do it at some point. I haven't made enough attempts at manga drawings to say that I'm good at it.

But it's good to draw out of boredom. Your art skills will improve if you do. Techniques for drawing facial features, etc.
