No, I just LOVE birds, especially pigeons. Pigeons are so amazing. They can find their way home from somewhere as far as 500 miles.

As are blackbirds: the males have black feathers and a yellow beak, and the females are just plain drab birds.

It seems to be a general thing - the males birds are usually the most beautiful.
I think it is something to do with impressing the females at how AMAZING they can look and still LIVE in a world of hawks and falcons.
SO, if that is true it is the species of bird that gets HUNTED where the males are gaudy and the females just fade into the woodwork.

Animals don't actually get married as they don't have religion or any kind of complex social structure. you are saying it's bad to eat ducks? well, if you don't eat ducks the pupulation would increase causing a decrease in the amount of pond life (e.g. weeds, etc.) This would mean there would then be less food for fish,etc. and they would die out. Then we would have less food to eat and their would be a famine in the world.
