It said to leave a thought behind right?

If you add a -1 to a -1 do you get a 2 or a -2?

-1 + -1 = -2
because if you add more negative to something, you make it more negative


-1 - (-1) = 0
as if you minus a minus your might as well be adding, cause your taking away a negative, your actually making it more positive.
  So its the same as -1 + 1 =0
