Brain SpeedThis is a test which claims to measure your brain speed: http://www.positscience.com/programs/brainspeed.php "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M. Lederman #2 2006-03-26 19:59:11
Re: Brain SpeedThis is interesting. I think (hope!!) I'm about half way through. The noises sound like when you open and lock your car. I've accidentally bumped my mouse into clicking the wrong arrows, even though I really wanted to choose the other! #3 2006-04-03 07:29:06
Re: Brain SpeedOdd. When I tried this about a week ago, it said I needed to install something. I did, but it still didn't work. But now I've tried it again and it works fine. Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #4 2006-04-03 07:37:47
Re: Brain SpeedWow, 25! I got 40 something. "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M. Lederman #5 2006-04-06 15:55:41
Re: Brain SpeedIt kindly informed me that I was using a Mac and where I could stick it. Ok, they were nice about it and all, but seriously, this is one of my pet peeves. The web is as cross-platform as it gets, people. ActiveX isn't worth it. El que pega primero pega dos veces. #6 2006-04-06 16:58:40
Re: Brain SpeedI tend to agree. I use flash and javascript for my applications because they seem to be pretty universal (I believe Flash 6 or higher is on something like 98% of machines now). But maybe they couldn't get the special sounds to work quite right in Flash. I wouldn't know why, though.
