Probability of Selecting A Male

What is the probability of selecting a male from a group of 4 males and 8 females?

Let me see.

In all there are 12 people.

Let P(selecting a male) = probability of selecting a male.

P(selecting a male) = 4/12 = 1/3

My answer = 1/3

It makes no difference if the answer is written as 1/3 or 33(1/3)% or (100/3)%.
