Following in the footsteps of Symmetry Artist is Tessellation Artist

It is brand new, so any comments/bug reports/suggestions welcome! hmm

Re: Tessellation Artist

Like always, fantastic job Rod! Neat. smile

A pretty silly and small comment, and I don't know what it is but there seems to be a thin white line horizontally across the left-hand menu. It also seems that I can draw in it (like if I drag a shape there it fills with colour). Just wondering if it is something or if it is meant to be there.

Also, is there a real need for a 'square' button since you can choose it from the menu below?
Edit: Whoops, I see the use of that button now! It's a rectangle!

Thank you both!

Yes! Very well spotted - I shall have to repair that little gap.

Re: Tessellation Artist

Ooh, I love it! I especially like how two solids can can cancel each other out if they overlap. You can make some crazy things by using that, as shown below.

One other small thing: The polygon maker gives you the option if making 2-sided polygons, otherwise known as lines. I'm not sure if you meant to include that, but it doesn't work very well. If people want lines, then the line tool works much more effectively.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Re: Tessellation Artist

Tessellation Artist now has a print function, does it work for you?

Yes! v1.1 prints perfectly!  I like the nudge feature, but if I nudge a free-style line, it remembers the last few pixels,
not all of them in the nudging.  Quite a cool thing!
