### Profoundly Cold Mathematical Problems, #1

1. If A = $\frac{100+101+102....+200}{2+4+6...+104}$, find A + 100.

2. Two points are chosen unsystematically within an circle with radius 2017. What is the expected distance between these two points?

3. What is the value of $\frac{1}{2}+\frac{2}{3}+\frac{3}{4}...+\frac{100}{101}$?

4. What is the area enclosed by the polar graph cos(theta) + 2.1?(0 - 2pi)

5. A gargantuan closet contains 300 pairs of books. I choose 12 books. What is the probability that I choose at least 2 pairs?

6. Is it true that every derivative of a differentiable function is continuous?

7. I have a box filled with a myriad of snowballs. I pick 5 snowballs and their numbers are 1, 23, 99, 11, and 101. How many balls are within the box?( Convert to nearest integer)

8. Is there a number such that $\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{4}...+\frac{1}{n}$?

9. Find the maximum value of cos(x)-sin(x).

10.$\frac{2}{5}+\frac{3}{10}+\frac{4}{20}...=$ =?

Hi;

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

I think that 4 and 7 need more explanation if the right answer is to be found.

Could you clarify how I could expound on these questions better?

4) requires theta values to integrate between.

7) Are the snowballs numbered 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,...
