The formula to subtract two fractions:

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

Re: Please help

Oh this is going to be long...

(1) In

, the LCM (Least Common Multiple) is
. So multiplying 3x-2 by x-2 and 2 by x+2 gives
.
Simplifying gives us
. Which gives us answer choice D

(3) Cross multiplying gives us

. Moving like terms to one side and constants to the other gives us
. So

(4)

. Plugging that in gives us
. Pretending that (x-1)(x+2) is one variable, we can factor it out to get

Dividing and simplifying gives us
which is answer choice C.

(6) Trigonometry... eheu! (Latin for Oh Dear!)
I noticed the 3 and the 5 in

, so I thought of a 3, 4, 5 right triangle. Drawing one, we see that the
is the angle between the hypotenuse of length 5, and the leg of length 4.

So

. Which is in this case, is answer choice E.

The answer choice is also less than

in case you were wondering.
