Links

Why do the links go in the current tab? Why not open the link in a new tab? I suggest this.

"What is the square root of 2? 1.4141592653589793238" Seriously, I thought it was that. Too round?

Re: Links

hi julianthemath

If you are using IE you can hold down the control key as you click a link to get a new tab.  I expect other browsers do a similar thing.

If the default was to always start a new tab, I expect some people would get fed up with a screen full of windows and would be asking for the setting to be put back.

Re: Links

Hi julianthemath;

FF opens up links in a new tab.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.
