Is there a way to deduce asymptotes(horizontal,vertical,oblique) of a function without graphing the function?

So,by checking where the graph tends to infinity I can know the asymptote?

hi Berniard,

That's about right. When a denominator is zero, the value of y 'goes to infinity'. Those are vertical asymptotes.

The others are found when you consider what happens when x tends to + or - infinity.
