Graphing trig functions and their periodsI ran across this problem y=tanpi/2x. Now I know the amp is 1 and the period is 2 but how on earth do I draw the periods? #2 2012-08-31 16:12:09
Re: Graphing trig functions and their periodsHi jessica_cs; Amplitude doesn't apply here. The period is 2 so starting at 0 the graph has to repeat every 2 ticks. You only need to graph x=0,1,2,3,4,5. You should end up with a graph like below. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. |
