Re: Whats my line?

Not giving up, but I need to think about all of this.

I'll be back later when I've had an idea.

Best wishes,

Bob

Hi Bob;

Okay, see you then.

bobbym is not sure if he makes money out of this practice.

I am not sure how he makes money out of it or whether that is his primary motive. He is hired at times and some of the smaller guys are doing it for money! This can not totally be the case with him.

No he is not into phishing and targeted advertising is legal. What this fellow is into is going to earn him 5 years in prison.

Re: Whats my line?

hi bobbym,

Brain running out of ideas.  I've thrown this open to my family and been asked a question that I should know but don't

1. (My wife's question): You say he knows about all of us.  Does 'us' mean everyone in the world; or just those who use computers; or just those using MathsIsFun?

hi bob

maybe we could also use the fact that what he does would earn him 5 years in prison.

Re: Whats my line?

hi bobbym,

Still thinking!

Stefy:  Tried that.  Google has been red-hot with my attempts.  You'd be surprised how many people in the USA have been given 5 year jail sentences for computing offences.  Got several names to check out.  Rejected because too old and / or picture didn't look a bit like him and / or offence didn't fit the answers so far.

So what has this guy been up to?  And how did bobbym get to hear about him?

........................thinking.........................

This could take some time.

Bob

Re: Whats my line?

hi bob

didn't mean that.he didn't get a jail sentence.bobbym said that with what he does he can get a life sentence in length of 5 years.look for what crimes that punishment is and isolate those that involve computers.

Re: Whats my line?

Hi all;

And how did bobbym get to hear about him?

While I was googling for something else there was his mug shot.

Those steely eyes, that empty soul, that cold heart frightened me. It was then that I knew I must post about this guy. It was then that I knew that all of us would not be safe until he was put in cryogenic freeze and launched to Alpha CenTauri.

I, whom have come face to face with a Muscovite werewolf, have never experienced such pure terror as upon first gazing upon his countenance.

afraid-male-afraid-frightened-smiley-emoticon-000293-large.gif

My hands shook as I tried to paste the link of his picture, they refused to move and beads of sweat formed on my brow. My brother had to help lift my arm up to paste it and then together we pressed enter.

As if in a trance, slowly I reached for my high powered water pistol and began to fill it with a strong solution of garlic water. Convinced as I was that he might be coming my way. Might be coming to do in person what he has done in cyberspace. I sat facing my door, waiting...

My brother spoke to me but I could not hear. Finally he shook me and said,"the law has him now and may God have mercy on his soul. We can not live in fear even though he used to lurk about our planet."

I emptied my water gun and began to weep for all of humanity that he has terrorized. Now my tears of pain have become tears of joy in the knowledge that two more humans are learning about him. Two more people are uncovering his hideous occupation.

Do not give up now brothers, I implore you! Unearth the cruel monsters deeds. You are so close! Find out about him that we may all rest comfortably.

Re: Whats my line?

hi bobbym

well, for now i don't have any ideas, but i see some things in your post that are additional clues,e.g. you said that you feared he might do to you in real life what he did to many on the 'cyber space'.which means it's doable in both.

is this a valid question:"What were you googling?".if it is then that's my question.

No, that was just a frightenened boys fears. His villainy is limited to cyberspace, I know that now.

I was googling something totally unrelated and do not remember what it was.

I do not know the answer to that one. Or whether his trial has even started. He probably has found himself a high priced attorney who will undoubtedly get him off.
