Another book question to check

Hi all,  I have another question from the book I'm going through that seems to have the wrong answer given?  But maybe I'm wrong.  I'd be thankful for a second opinion.

On  question 2C  I got 58/60 = 29/30  The book has 1/30

On question 3 I have 3/12, 4/16   The book has  3/12, 4/16 and 3/15

Thanks

Re: Another book question to check

hi silverpuma

the book is correct for once
i think that you didn't subtract 60-58 to get the money spent only on coffee.
3/15=(3*1)/(3*5)=1/5≠1/3

aaaah thanks anonimnystefy I see it now:)  These are the ones I could kick myself for getting wrong as the next day after I see the right answer it looks so obvious.  But at the time I was wrong no excuses acceptedshame
