possible outcomes
Hi,
My daughter came home from school today with this problem.
[b]List all the possible combinations using the binary computer system with 8 digits. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ She now needs to find all 256 outcomes. Please help her out.

Does she need a list of them?

I agree with the others about the task. Your daughter would get more benefit from spending 5 minutes looking at

in my opinion. Especially the counting device (scroll down a bit).
Actually, I'm just trying it myself and it's going to be a bit over 5 minutes. Now that's a better question. How long will it take to count to 1023 or 1111111111 in binary? Can you get the answer before it does it?
