Father's Eyeglasses
I tried on my Dad's
glasses to view the
computer screen and
to my amazement,
they helped quite
a bit, but not
perfectly. Then I
looked through the
glasses from the
front of them instead,
and the screen was
even better!
Very interesting.

Well, he still eats enough each day, and I walk him about 50 feet a day around the house, though he has no balance left on his own, since his April stroke 
So he does watch Turner Classic Movies quite a bit. But yesterday he got up and fell when he wasn't being watched closely enough for a minute, and hurt his head. The hospice nurse evaluated him and helped with redressing him today. He may have a mild concussion, and may need more attention, and we have a cold pack under a wash cloth behind his head in bed. So that gives you an idea, he weighs about 85 pounds now. He was a barber and a school teacher both at the same time, very busy life, and a Navy man earlier.

I am sorry to hear that. I cared for my mom and I know what you are going through. I will think of him and you in my prayers.

Thanks for the prayers, bro. He seems happy all of the time even as bad as it is, so I'm still hoping for longevity for him.

I hope so too. He has one good piece of luck. A son that loves and respects him. That is huge, especially today.
