“Mastermind”: Champion of Champions
Pat Gibson won the Champion of Champions series final of “Mastermind” shown on BBC Two this evening. I was delighted when I saw what his specialist subject was: Great Mathematicians! I thought that was my cup of tea – but to my embarrassment, I could only answer two or three of the questions asked.

Mastermind questions are amazingly hard. If the subject was my own life I would be lucky to get half right!

“Mastermind” is arguably the toughest general-knowledge quiz game in Britain. At times I’m delighted when I can answer so much as one question.
