Chess Knight Add 3 Sub 3If you know how a knight Last edited by John E. Franklin (2010-02-08 14:07:13) Imagine for a moment that even an earthworm may possess a love of self and a love of others. #2 2010-02-09 05:11:29
Re: Chess Knight Add 3 Sub 3Hi John; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #3 2010-02-09 05:48:09
Re: Chess Knight Add 3 Sub 3Yes, I'm only looking at the last digit. Imagine for a moment that even an earthworm may possess a love of self and a love of others. #4 2010-02-10 08:36:41

Re: Chess Knight Add 3 Sub 3Here's something I kind of like for adding numbers together By putting the zero and five at the center points, some very nice symmetry occurs in adding pairs of numbers together. There are 55 adding problems we remember as children, 36 that are not trivial (without 1 or 0 in them). Try them all on this for fun in geometric groups such as diagonals, poles, longest diagonals, doubles, horizontal beams, 5 added to any number, etc. Last edited by John E.
