Find an equation for the tangent line to the graph at the specified value of x:

Thanks in advance smile

Re: Trig

Hi ilovealgebra;

You are given

First get the derivative:

Now get the slope m by plugging in -3 in the right hand side

Now get

Now you have

Just plug into the slope tangent formula

simpllfy

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
