how to work out average
argent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i need to work out these numbers as an average.
2341 2121 2391 2541 1983 2145 2786

i got 37308 when i added them up and the divided by 7 and it came up with 5329.71 is that right?

16308/7 = 2329.7142857142857142857(...)
= 2329.7143 (8 s.f.)

average shud always lie between the max and the min number ..

When you saw 5329.71, it was really 2329.71
You just read it too fast and the 2 looked like a 5.
Easy mistake.
(2 341 + 2 121 + 2 391 + 2 541 + 1 983 + 2 145 + 2 786) / 7 = 2 329.71429
