Linear equation

Hi everyone, I am new in site.
I come from Greece.
The form for the linear equation, we use here, is:
y=ax+b

Hi there markoulian, we use y=mx+c over here. Another one I've seen is y=mx+b

As Devantè  said, we use y = mx = c.
