Re: Batman The Dark Knight

If you're over 16, go for it, it's a great film.  However, it is not a kids movie.

Re: Batman The Dark Knight

Has had good reviews, it is on my list. I really liked the first movie ... it developed the character well.

Hancock sounds like a good movie too.

Re: Batman The Dark Knight

Definitely not a kids movie, 16 seems like kind of a high number, I'm very liberal when it comes to movie ratings though. If you think you can handle a violent (as well as disturbing at times) movie, go for it, great character development, amazing acting.

Re: Batman The Dark Knight

Is it PG-13?  Thought it was R.  I don't see a 13 year old grasping the entire movie.  Certainly they'll appreciate it, but the entire movie is heavily based in philosophy/morality.

Re: Batman The Dark Knight

Yeah, the Dark Knight definitely pushes the PG-13 rating. But it's a great movie... the acting is unforgettable.

Re: Batman The Dark Knight

Funny, I've thought of watching that movie. But if you guys think 13 year-olds can't grasp it, I'd better wait 3 years, then. hehe.

Re: Batman The Dark Knight

i really enjoyed it, went to see it with my girlfriend who'd already seen it a week or so ago but said it was worth seeing twice tongue

I take film age ratings as being more of a 'if you're this old, it will deffinately not scare you' as opposed to 'at this age you can fully comprehend and understand things that aren't blatanly obvious in the film' wow my english drags tonight.

was it good? was it good? ARE U KIDDING? IT WAS AWESOME!

although the bit i found weird is that The Joker (Heath Ledger) was actually pretty funny.

Harvey, on the other hand, when he gets burnt is scary. I think I have seen that before though, on the Terminator or something.

I don't see y they couldn't have put Robin in the movies. I like Robin sad
