Hi, Here's my question.... if a person spent $28.49 on lunch, over the course of one week, what was the average cost per day?
I can't figure it out, I was thinking divide $28.29 by 5, but that is exact, so how do I get the average?
Hi 'sweet lil gal'!
You're dividing '$28.29' whereas the man's spending '$28.49'!?
There are 7 days a week and of course the man must be having lunch everyday!!
So divide by 7!
$28.49/7 = $4.07
hope that does answer your question!

If two or more thoughts intersect, there has to be a point!

Cavg = (c1+c2+ ... +c5)/5
I think you need to know the money spent of each day to find and average
edit: maybe during weekends he lunches with his parent's ...lol
here..
c1+c2+.....+c7=$28.49 (total expenditure given)
So you just need to divide by 7!
