i have my final in math on wednesday and i dont get any of it. Here are some sample problems that are on the review packet. Someone who gets the stuff please help.
Use factoring to find the zeros of y=x^2+x-12
mainly the whole book plz im begging you i only have 2 days.
A zero of that equation is a value of x which will make y equal to 0.
To find them, you factor the right side of the equation.
x² + x - 12 = (x+4)(x-3).
Since this is 0, that means that either x+4 or x-3 must be 0. Therefore, x is either -4 or 3.
(So the zeroes are -4 and 3)
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

thanks so much
new problem:
simplfy:
(-5b^2c^2)(8b^3c^2)
Group all the like terms together, as well as the constants.
Then (-5b²c²)(8b³c²) becomes (-5x8)(b²xb³)(c²xc²).
You can simplify each of those using power laws, or just basic multiplication in the case of the constants. This makes the final result -40b^5c^4.
