yes i got it.
The answer printed after the ques. was wrong. Bezoux's answer is completely correct.

its not that simple.
i tried but failed that way.
then i multiplied the 2 equations,substituted some of the values and got the result as nx.
now i just need to convert nx in terms of m and n only but am always ending up my result in the variable x.
pls. help.

@agnishom , social studies part really made me go
mental ability was very good and language too was good.

2nd level is based on the percentile you get in your state.From each state some crieteria's are set and the total number of the students to be selected is set up.
Let's hope for the best (though I don't think I should because I didn't perform so well in SAT.I should rather hope that other people did worse than me )
From which state did you give?

JEE is my goal and its preparations are going in parallel,  but now I am in class10 so my focus is more on boards.
